Herbal Help for Mums and Dads - Session 2 this Monday 1st May

Dear Herbal Mums and Dads,
Our next Herbal Help for Mums and Dads is happening next Monday 1st May at the Roundchapel on Powerscroft Road, Hackney, at 11.30am to 12.30pm.

This time we will be looking at fever and seasonal allergies management.

We will explore one herb in more depth and create our customised herbal tea blends.

Thank you

Thank you everyone who came to our first Herbal Help for Mums and Dads session at the Roundchapel Church Rooms today.

It was such a lovely group and great herbal sharing. The cough syrup is delicious, I think the children think so too. 😃

Hoping to see you next week for our next session on fever management and seasonal allergies next Monday 1st May.

Please note:
The warnings of the use of liquorice during pregnancy and lactation refer to prolonged and high dosage consumption during pregnancy, which has been linked to premature delivery and low birth weight. 
In regards to breastfeeding the amount of herbal constituents coming through to the breast milk from taking the cough sirop a tablespoon a day is minimal to zero and also safe for children once they are on solids and have developed a mature digestive system.

Herbal Help for Mums and Dads - Session 1 - Winter Lurgies

Finally it is happening!

This coming Monday 24th April 2017 Rasheeqa and Steph will be holding our first Herbal Help for Mums and Dads session
from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

The subject will be 

The merry-go-round of winter lurgies
Supporting the repiratory and immune systems to be stronger in keeping colds at bay and helping to ease the symptoms when they do come

We will be making a soothing healing cough syrup that children like to take and learn useful strategies to strengthen kid's lungs in our polluted city.

We will be in the old church room. Please use the entrance up the stairs on Powerscroft Road. Then turn right.
