Last Session Harvest Party Celebration….and Tasting of Fire Cider!!!

Thank you all for coming in such a large number and bringing a wonderful sharing mood, a huge Reishi mushroom, unknown herbs (to us) from Portugal and a lovely warm banana cake - yum - and many more foodie goodies.

We tasted Meadowsweet tincture (the vodka gave us a good kick), and dug up the famous Fire Cider!

It was very surprising because the fire cider tasted very different from how it smelled.

A nice warming spicy throat experience, but the smell was - mmmh - hard to describe…..some mentioned gherkin water…..
We were wondering if the smell came largely from the horseradish root that was in there?!?

The Curve garden will leave mounted photographs of our sessions and workshops exhibited in the garden (Herbal Health Bar, large greenhouse, toilets!) up for another couple of weeks, so have a look in case you are around, you might be featured.

We hope you had a such a lovely time as we had, and will be in touch soon about more events we are planning.

Our last Thursday at the Dalston Eastern Curve - Celebration!

Join us for our end of residency celebration at the Dalston Eastern Curve garden this Thursday 17th September from 6.30pm onwards!

We will spread out into the garden and make a harvest party of feasting and sharing what we have made and learnt this summer.

Come and join us to

Strain out and sample the plant medicines we have made together

Dig up the Fire Cider that we buried at the last Sunday workshop

See an exhibition of photos and results of our sessions and herb tastings

And generally celebrate our Gone Wild Herbs project, the beauty of the Curve garden and the turning of the season!

We would love it if you bring along any herbal goodies or wild foraged foods you might have made to add to the feast, and of course any recipes or stories.

We will also share ideas about how we will continue this project in London and welcome your feedback and thoughts on future movements. This is a collectively created project and we want to go on that way. We will let you know how you can keep in touch and join us in future activities.

Elderberry Sirop - yum
Bring yourselves, your friends, and your late summer party vibes!

Looking forward to seeing you Thursday.

With love from the Gone Wild Herbs collective x
